This is a portrait of an elderly lady in a rural part of Bangladesh. I was escorted by some friendly locals to visit their home, giving me the opportunity to meet a close community of families living by their farmland. This lady communicated her happiness and welcoming warmth through her smile. It was the first time anyone here had met or spoken to a foreigner.
